I had to have a chat with my old chemistry teacher about my recommendation letter. Previously he wrote to me saying I shouldn’t pursue chemistry because of a terrible grade I had received but agreed after meeting with me that I was an A student. So he said he will write me a recommendation letter then invited me to attend his classes to change my grade for free because he’s the head of the chemistry department. I was so happy.
Then I walked to work in the rain while listening to Fiona Apple because Stephen scored himself, Scott, and I tickets to see her next month. Considering she hasn’t done much since 2005, this is a big deal. It’s crazy how many artists are coming out of the woodwork, I was lucky enough to see Jeff Mangum of Neutral Milk Hotel a few months ago.
Work went well, was a busy day today. I have to take over some more responsibilities in March and April because my boss is going away to Italy and is going to have surgery when she gets back. It’s the most time she’s ever been away so I’m a bit cautious how it’s going to go.
I would say I want a vacation, but there is nothing to vacation from right now.
I just want to work even harder.
